now you can be too!
Finally, I have started a cooking blog...
In response to the many requests for various recipes, I have decided that I would put them online. Right now there is only one recipe but don't panic, more will come.
you can visit it here
Are you madly dashing to your kitchen yet? Well you should be. :)
Oh and btw, I wont be putting any cupcake recipes up, why?
Because I sell them.
Bon appetite!

Oh so good!
We had this for dinner last night.
It is composed of beets, carrots, sweet potatoes and baking potatoes. Tossed in olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt and pepper the vegetables caramelized while roasting leaving a slightly sweet crunchy taste. I think its my new favorite meal. Our side was whole wheat bread. So easy!
Here are your Ella antics for the day!
She Loves spaghetti! (Yes, that is some meat on her nose. Such the little lady.)
She hearts you.

Week in review
I am to lazy to put them all in order right now.
Ella spilled my water all over the floor and was splashing around in it. I had to laugh.
Ella recived this toy from Grandma and Grandpa Pettit for her birthday. She loves it!
Ahhh the joy and mess of moving. Ella loved to play in the boxes. It would occupy her for at least a half hour.
She walks!! All over the place.

Life is full of Surprises
Not always good ones...
I have been working really hard all week to finish my homework so I would be able to concentrate on moving this weekend. I spent long hours finishing up all of my online class work which is due tomorrow. This morning when I checked my e-mail I had this message.
"We discovered this morning that
somewhere down the line there was a lack of communication and the wrong
CHILD 210 course was copied over to create the Winter 2010 ones.
Currently, another student employee and I are working as fast as we
possibly can to fix that mistake. Your students may be confused because
there was content that wasn't in the Unit 1 folder before, that is in
there now...and will probably continue to change until about tomorrow
(hopefully tonight), depending on how fast we can remedy the mistake
that was made. Thank you for your continual patience! "
Lovely. Did they extend the due date?
No.
You have to love those student employees.
I checked the site to see how much I would have to do over. Lets just say, I am not going to sleep at all tonight. Hooray for school week one!

Ella is Walking!
She took her first steps today. It was in the kitchen, she was taking garbage out of the can so I moved it. She crouched down as if to crawl, then stood back up and walked across the kitchen to get it. I was so shocked! She is growing up so fast!

Sorry
I haven't posted anything really great in awhile. Christmas was wonderful! We Spent it in sunny California with the Riggs. Now we are back in Idaho with the snow. I think we may have to get chains for the tires, we got stuck on a hill today, it wasn't even that steep of a hill. More like an incline. Opps. Luckily there are so many nice people around to help push the car.
So here is a quick run down of our plans for the week...
I begin School tomorrow. Hooray!
Charles beings a semester of being a stay at home Dad. (Hopefully Hooray for him)
We figure out how to navigate the streets in our light weight car without crashing into everyone else on the road.
We move.
uh, yeah. If you didn't catch the last one, we're moving. AGAIN.
I am not surprised either. We seem to be nomads who cannot stay in one place for more than four months. So on we plod.
This time however instead of upgrading to a newer, bigger, better home as we have the past few times, we are going back to an apartment. Going from 2,000 square feet to 800 will be a pretty big change. Yes, I am very, very spoiled.
Since we are moving in three days, I am going to go get packing. I will put pictures up from Christmas later, along with pics of the new abode.
Until then my faithful followers, plod on.
