Pj Problems
Ella has learned to take off her pj's. this is how we have found her lately. So funny!
I choose not to post the one where she had taken them completely off so she doesn't hate me for that later. :) Good thing the weather is getting warmer!

Family Reunion
Last weekend the Pettit side of the family got together in Salt Lake for some mid semester shenanigans. The girls in our family haven't been together all at once for awhile. Lets just say, PARTY!!!

Oh well...
I had thought/hoped desperately, that the apartment full of guys who were here last week but gone for the weekend, may have just a had a short construction job and then left leaving the apartment below us blissfully and most importantly quietly empty. (There are NO sound barriers between the top and bottom floor apartments. I think they forgot to put it in. Seriously you hear EVERYTHING, Last week I kept waking up to their toilet flushing all night long. I don't even sleep near the bathroom.)
Well....they are back.
and
They brought more people with them.
Oh the joys of apartment living.

Yoohoo!
Just in advance, I do realize that mothers day was a few days ago. But hey, I love my Mom everyday not just on mothers day, so here's to you Mom!
Things I love about my Mother,
She is always willing to listen. I can, when given the opportunity, talk a lot and sometimes I feel bad when we have had a conversation and I realize that I have done all of the talking. She is so good at making me feel better about life and things in general. She leaves me feeling uplifted.
She doesn't mind goofing around with us kids. :) Come on Mom you know what I am talking about!
Growing up we went on a lot of vacations. Sometimes we were less than willing to visit all of the historical sites and what not but we sure did have a load of FUN! I loved it and cherish all of the memories. It is because of my mothers ability to plan and organize that we were able to see and do so much.
My mom is not the type of person who wants to be talked about like this. She would rather sit on the back row and preform quiet acts of service while no one is looking. She is always serving others and sets a great example for me. I have never felt like she does not practice the principles which she teaches. She is a great example of all the things I want to be.
I love you Mom!
