This is what has been going on in our neck of the woods. Don't you love Ella's new face paint? She is such a trendsetter!

I love my little girl. Such a funny personality. I walked into her room the other day and she was taking the clothing out of her dresser drawer. She promptly put this on her head with a smile...





And here is a little tidbit leftover from vacation. On the way home we stopped at the J&J hotel (It is the greatest place to stay. we loved it! ;) Ruby being a great Jedi master, took Ella on as her young padawan. Ella seemed to enjoy it, though sometimes she just wanted to eat the light saber. It was fun to watch Ella learning to sword fight. It brought back memories from my childhood. Did I ever tell you that my lil bro Stephen learned to walk by sword fighting. Yep. sniff. cough. smile. I am so proud!

Spring Break Part Two:

So I figured that I needed to post before we get back home otherwise it would never happen.

Needless to say we have been having a lot of fun. The funeral was hard as funerals always are but we made it through and had a grand time talking with family. We love being with family!

Spring Break

Schools out.

So far we have done a lot of driving seen a lot of family, done a lot of puking (tmi?) and eaten a lot of good food,

spent a lot of time in the sunshine, played the piano at many different peoples houses

(Ella loves to play the piano).
Though not necessarily in that order. Ella has pretty much been the only one doing the puking. We have just been cleaning it all up.

Anyways.

I hope you are all having as much fun as we are!

Finally

Its finals week. One more left and then I am DONE! ... for about a week.

So this pretty much sums my teacher for Drugs Use and abuse up in a nut shell. He titled one of our last lectures on cigarettes, "Whats in them thar things?"

Needless to say that has been an interesting class.

Sewing Machine...

So I think that I am going to buy one. the requirements are that it needs to be cheap. Second hand is probably what I will get but it needs to be capable of sewing without breaking all the time. So what are some good machines? Does anyone have any thoughts, ideas or tips?

I made it all by myself!

Can you believe it? Neither can I, but it is finally done. I have working on this shirt for the last few weeks and many times I was ready to throw it out the window. Yeah. Its a love hate relationship. So what do you think? I will probably never really wear it, but hey now I know how to make one.

Shenanigans

Lately this little girl's new hobby is playing in the kitchen cupboards and drawers. We only have locks on the the ones with chemicals so she has easy access. This may need to change in the new future because it make a huge mess every time she pulls the contents of the kitchen cupboards onto the floor. She isn't very god at cleaning up after herself. Good thing she is so darn cute!

We have been enjoying all this warm weather. When it warms up to 40 degrees people actually wear shorts and t-shirts. We have been going to the park every day this week but when we went to the park yesterday, it was packed with people out enjoying the sunshine. There were many times we had to pick Ella up so she wouldn't be run over by the skateboards bikes and dogs going by.




Ella fell and split her lip when she hit the floor. It was very sad, but she is doing much better now!



I found her birthday pictures! I had loaded them onto Charles laptop not the desktop. Opps.
